Thank you again WAK!!
just hang in there tough
with the head up high
the pieces don’t fit
still struggling to achieve
what’s best for me
i hope it’s still around
While in a constant personnal mind and spirit struggle I must keep telling myself to follow my heart and those I love. Either it’s music, people or ideas.
But, what is the price everyone pays to keep positive and full?
”..choosing DIY and wondering who you are on a Sunday morning..”
It could describe my inside battle atm more than perfectly.
Ready to have a flat day along with people that make me smile,
but smile it’s nothing but showing teeth.

“WHY I HATE LAW & ORDER “FANZINE” AND WHY YOU SHOULD HATE LAW AND ORDER “FANZINE” TOO.
…
IT PUTS PEOPLE OFF MAKING ZINES
Give someone a copy of Law&Order “fanzine” and tell them “Now go and make your own fanzine..” and they’ll break down in tears and plea that “There’s no way any human could make a fanzine like this! It must have been forged in the flames of Chaos/Asgaard, dictate by Yahweh or discovered alongside several golden plates somewhere in North America (you choose). No human could have conceived or created a fanzine like this..Therefore, I would be a fool to attempt to create my own fanzine. I shall have no part in such a folly! I’m going to start a blog instead.”
Very interesting point of view, I love the humor. Indeed it is a huge zine and very neatly put together, but I haven’t read it yet (still planning to do so, though) so I can’t have a clear opinion on the matter. In any case, this book -actually- is ultimately intimidating for those who want to contribute by making a fanzine or feel another way, less “hype”, about creativity.
To have friends who turn the volume up in the car
To jam at the studio for 5-6 hours
To go deaf from those fucking sounds
To eat souvlaki and drink heavy amounts of beer
To sleep on the couch of the studio with your best friends
To sing Bad Religion’s songs during jamming
To take the metro and laugh with the ads
To talk about politics while you want to pee and go mad
To give the finger to the Nazi part’s “office” while driving by
To dance your butt off with girlfriends and one miserable brother
To scream out the lyrics of 90’s songs that you used to sing with your siblings at the age of 7 or 9 because you used to play FIFA99 and Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater
To meet your students at a hip hop gig and talk to you like you’re the bestest teacher ever
And as an end not being able to talk after an exhausting day, and figuring this out while you’re trying to sing along with someone in the car.
Hittin’ the beach tomorrow. peace and love.
